There large ears are not only for hearing prey but also helps them lose body heat keeping them cool in the desert heat.
The fennec fox is so well adapted to the desert that they do not need to drink water, they gain most of there liquids through the food that they eat.
Their feet are extremely effective shovels that they use to dig the underground burrows in which they live, they are also covered in thick fur protecting them from the scorching hot sand.
