  • There large ears are not only for hearing prey but also helps them lose body heat keeping them cool in the desert heat.

  • The fennec fox is so well adapted to the desert that they do not need to drink water, they gain most of there liquids through the food that they eat.
  • They have extra furry feet to protect them from the hot sand.
